Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I wanted to let you know that I've decided to move on to the next phase of my professional work and will be stepping down as director of the Campaign for Loudoun's Future on Friday, April 20.

It has been an honor to work with all of you. I am so proud of the work we have done together to build a positive future for our community.

I have two requests for each of you.

  1. Please stay in touch.  You can reach me at [email protected] and 703-430-0489.  I will remain actively engaged in the community, and I'd love to keep working with each of you.
  2. Please stay engaged with the Campaign for Loudoun's Future.  We need to keep the momentum of our citizen network going. You can continue contacting the campaign coalition at [email protected].

Developers continue to propose changes -- changes that we need to examine and speak up about to the Board of Supervisors and the press.  For many years, we will be faced with the challenges caused by past decisions of our elected leaders and living in one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.

There will be hard decisions to make, but if we are all involved, I am confident that Loudoun County will continue to be a wonderful place to live and work.

Hundreds of us are actively engaged in talking with our neighbors and elected leaders about critical decisions.  Thousands more are reading about the issues and writing email.

It's been an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with you, fighting for our community and our families.  Your voice has made a difference.  One citizen really can change the debate.

Our community is truly a better place, thanks to all of you.

Here's to our future!
