Final
Public Hearing on Oct. 10 and 14
Your
time and taxes are at stake!
Our county
is under pressure from developers to increase the pressure on all
of us.
Developers
could add 33,821 new houses to eastern Loudoun -- if they
can pressure our county government into abandoning key parts of
our county's existing growth plan that the people of Loudoun County
developed and agreed to just three years ago.
A public hearing
-- which we believe will be the only and final public hearing
-- will be held next Tuesday and continued on Saturday on this massive
change to our county's growth plan.
Public
Hearing
with the Board of Supervisors
Tuesday,
October 10, 6:30 PM
Saturday, October 14, 9:00 AM
County
Government Center |
Tell
our County Supervisors:
- Stick to
the existing growth plan
- Say YES
to protecting Loudoun County from massive developer proposals
- Say NO to
tens of thousands of new houses in eastern Loudoun
- Say NO to
more gridlock and higher taxes
These changes
to our growth plan will create more competition for the services
we need in our communities. If someone tells you the proposal will
benefit YOUR community and commute, ask them for specifics.

The map will open as a PDF file. Please note that the county
is making changes to the number of new houses that could be allowed,
and we'll keep you updated with any changes. |

Email the Board of
Supervisors |
Showing
up to speak at the hearing is critical, but sending an email
to the Board of Supervisors is also important.
Be sure
to include your name and address so they know you are a true
Loudoun resident. Also be sure to request that your email
be made part of the public record.
